Formal & Continuing Education
Dr. Cotera received her DDS degree from Cayetano Heredia University - Dental School in Lima, Peru.
She has also received a diploma in endodontics at Cayetano Heredia Dental School in Lima, Peru and completed a two-year advanced education in general dentistry program at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Dr. Cotera is also certified in Invisalign invisible braces.

Dr. Cotera previously belonged to the clinical faculty of Restorative Department at the University of Pennsylvania and practiced dentistry in Virginia as well before joining the team at Hillview Family Dental. She and her husband, Dr. Zachary Kesling, enjoy music, independent film, writing, cooking, scuba diving, traveling, and the new love of their lives... their daughter, Camille.
